This Opportunity
WSP is currently initiating a search for a Assistant CQA Field Technician in our Holland, Michigan office.
Your Impact
• Assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from the physical work site, surveys, plans, blueprints, schematics, data, technical drawings, flow diagrams, materials sampling, computer-generated reports, and other matrices for field inspection activities.
• Assist with performing basic professional inspections of proposed and existing site conditions, equipment, construction, materials, controls, resources, layout, alignment, and elevation to determine conformance with applicable rules, standards, codes, and construction or operating permits.
• Provide technical assistance documenting geotechnical drilling investigations, proper construction of geosynthetic containment and leachate collection systems, stormwater controls, infrastructure, and equipment according to provided design specifications.
• Assist with verifying construction quantities, change orders, interpretation of contract plans and specifications, and escalating any differences, errors, or technical problems for appropriate resolution.
• Generate complete, accurate, and concise documentation related to inspection findings Comply with client policies and procedures for inspection work under contract.
• Comply with client and regulatory policies and procedure for inspection work under contract.
• Complete training on assigned tasks.
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
