This Opportunity WSP is excited to be offering positions with our National Bus Rapid Transit Team, which specializes in the planning and design of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) projects in local communities across the nation. Collaborate with and become among the nation’s best in the delivery and management of Bus Rapid Transit projects, helping create solutions that meet our clients’ objectives and solve their challenges. WSP is currently initiating a search for a BRT Project Engineer for our Fort Lauderdale, FL, Orlando, FL, Miami, FL offices with South Florida preferred. Your Impact

• Deliver transit design projects for key regional partners.

• Act as a designer on Roadway projects at all phases, from concept to construction.

• Provide technical support and Project Management on small to medium projects or tasks with opportunity to grow, including contract negotiation and managing a scope, schedule, and budget.

• Support larger projects as a Deputy Project Manager, Task Manager, Segment Manager or discipline expert.

• Aid local offices pursuing or delivering transit projects with technical expertise, including opportunities to travel.

• Demonstrate your skills to the industry through conference presentations and paper publication.

• Assist in growing the business by building relationships, writing marketing proposals and providing other business development support.

• Management of technical staff.

Who You Are Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar discipline.

• P.E. License with 7 to 10 years of experience in Roadway projects or equivalent.

• Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) experience a plus.

• Experience working with transit agencies and transportation department.
