Our engineers work on high quality, high-profile, national, and international projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the execution of building commissioning processes (new/re/retro/continuous), energy auditing and building retrofit applications, support for sustainability certification applications, and measurement and verification techniques.

Specific Requirements: • Experience with 480-Volt electrical systems, executing / witnessing electrical testing utilizing equipment such as power quality meters, circuit breaker test sets, contact/insulation resistance meters, and infrared cameras.
• Experience with Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS), Back Up Battery Systems, Static Switches (STS) and Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), Emergency Generators and Power Distribution Units (PDUs).
• Knowledge of 5kV -26kV systems and protection relays is preferred.
• Experience with witnessing and executing pre-functional, functional, and integrated electrical testing.
• Knowledge of NETA, IEEE, and NFPA-70 electrical testing standards.
• Knowledge of Short Circuit/Coordination/ Arc Flash Studies.
• An understanding of the architectural, engineering and construction industry.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices or facilities operations is preferred.
• Ability to work independently under supervision of senior leadership in a highly collaborative team environment.
Your Impact • Assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from the physical work site during various construction phases, surveys, blueprints, schematics, data, technical drawings, flow diagrams, computer-generated reports, and other matrices for project energy auditing actions, validation, and commissioning.
• Perform professional building and system commissioning work by conducting research and inspections of proposed and existing site conditions, equipment, resources, layout, usage, and systems to determine conformance with applicable rules, standards, codes, and installation or operating permits.
