WSP is currently initiating a search for a Drafter for our Saint Louis, MO office. The following locations will also be considered: San Diego, CA. Be involved in projects with our Power Delivery Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clients' objectives and solves their challenges. This Opportunity Takes part in providing local technical design and CADD support on projects to produce designs and specifications to be used for planning, transportation, infrastructure, and technical services business lines. Tasks may include generating CADD designs on various assigned aspects of projects of basic to moderate scale and/or complexity. Generates accurate and concise design phase deliverables including reports, technical memoranda, design manuals, plans and profiles, models, sections, details, specifications, and material lists. Ensures that responsibilities are delivered and adhered to with a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry standards for design, accuracy, and functionality. Your Impact • Under direct supervision, use 3D computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software to assist with basic design details and prepare drawings which require a high degree of precision. • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
Who You Are Required Qualifications • High school Diploma. • 0-2 years of experience. • Candidate must have strong experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D, 2018 or newer. • Willing and able to self-check own work for completeness and accuracy. • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies. Preferred Qualifications • Associate's degree. • Experience with creating alignments, profiles, surfaces and pipe networks in AutoCAD Civil 3D, 2018 or newer. • Working knowledge of survey coordinate systems. • Experience interpreting surveys. • Experience with MicroStation. • Strong written and oral communications skills. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. • Background in mathematics.

Compensation: Expected Salary (all locations): $41,000-$67,800 WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
