Parsons is looking for a talented Drainage Engineer to help design the critical transportation and stormwater infrastructure that connects and protects communities across the country. As a key member of our multidisciplinary design team, you’ll work on high‑visibility projects, mentor junior engineers, and take ownership of your designs from concept through construction.

What You’ll Be Doing You will be a key contributor in the planning and design of drainage and stormwater systems for transportation infrastructure projects, with responsibilities including: • Project & technical design• Perform hydraulic and hydrologic analysis for storm drains, detention/retention facilities, culverts, and water quality (BMP/LID) features. • Develop storm drain plans, profiles, details, and specifications in collaboration with senior drainage engineers. • Apply current DOT/FHWA drainage, hydraulic, and hydrology standards and practices in design. • Prepare technical calculations, exhibits, and drainage reports that clearly communicate your design approach.
