WSP is searching for a Geomatics Regional Manager to lead the west-central region out of our Tampa, FL office! Your Impact • Maintain Responsible charge of all aspects of surveying and geospatial group within the region. • Oversee the management, planning, scheduling and oversight of multiple surveying and geospatial projects for both internal WSP projects, as well as our external clientele. • Represent WSP at external meetings, conference, and other business development related activities. • Administer Contracts and Proposals • Promote a positive work environment • Screen and Hire new Team Members • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures. Who You Are Required Qualifications • Licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) in the state of Florida • Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Surveying, GIS, or a related field (or equivalent experience.) • 10+ years of relevant post-education experience in discipline with prior surveying experience in a corporate environment with easements, rights of way, plats, topographic surveys, boundary surveys, property descriptions, and GPS surveys. • High-level experience with both public and private sector work (e.g. state, city, county, utility districts, and private land development.) • Advanced proficiency with/of land survey principles, practices, process, methods and techniques. • Highly proficient expertise with relevant codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements. • Demonstrated technical competence leading and reviewing technical reports, survey mapping efforts, impact evaluations, siting reports, planning scopes, and environmental permit applications for assigned segments/project. • Ability to work independently and provide guidance and leadership to mid-level to senior level team or project members, with strict adherence to QA/QC. • Experienced with providing critical review for documents and preparing technical deliverables and surveys with a high degree of complexity. • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies. Preferred Qualifications • Master’s Degree is preferred. • Additional State PLS/PSM Licensures (Georgia, Alabama, Puerto Rico) • Experience with Remote Sensing Project Delivery and Planning
