This position manages field operations and works with customers, senior leaders, as well as personnel from various other departments.</span></p> <br>Responsibilities<br><br><ul><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Oversee total construction effort to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Interface with field managers, clients, subcontractors, and owners to assure customer satisfaction.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Plan, coordinate, and/or supervise activities of all operations' employees on assigned projects.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Confer with project personnel to update project schedules on a weekly basis.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Keep direct contact with projects in progress by visiting project sites.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Assist in disputes on all projects, negotiating as required to reach a resolution of construction problems.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Oversee all bid projects, including P&L responsibility and management of fleet assets dedicated to bid projects.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Work with Office Manager to ensure compliance with all internal reporting deadlines.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Prepare weekly revenue and cost reports.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Prepare and submit invoicing on a weekly basis. Work to resolve all accounts receivable invoices over 51 days.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ensure all company, client, and project policies, procedures, and standards are adhered to and interpret policies as required.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Cultivate and continuously seek to enhance an in-depth understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Assist with implementation/interpretation of safety programs. Liaise with estimating to ensure projects comply with cost, revenue, and schedule.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Examine estimates of material, equipment, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Prepare status reports and modify schedules or plans as required.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Prepare project reports for management, client, or others, including dollar estimates to complete and variance analysis for significant items.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Analyze projects for adherence to budget and percentage of profitability.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Directly supervise 3 to 10 supervisors.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Carry out supervisory responsibilities such as training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees, and addressing complaints or resolving problems according to company policies.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.</span></li></ul> <br>Qualifications<br><br><ul><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Bachelor's Degree in Construction Science, Engineering, or related field.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Duct bank, manhole, heavy construction experience.  </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">5 years of experience.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Previous supervisory experience.</span></li></ul><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Preferred </strong></span></p><ul><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">8 or more years of related experience, with significant supervisory experience.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">OSHA 10 Certification.</span></li></ul><p style="margin: 0in;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Physical Demands and Work Environment</span></strong><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"> </span></span></p><p style="margin: 0in;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">This job operates in a professional office environment.
