The ideal candidate will have market sector/ sub sector construction industry experience in <strong>energy</strong> (liquefied natural gas), <strong>manufacturing and technology</strong> (semiconductor, chemical, pharmaceutical, data centers, fire power generation),<strong> infrastructure</strong> (aviation, rail, roads/bridges), <strong>mining and minerals</strong> (water treatment plant, mineral extraction, metal refining), & <strong>nuclear, security, and environmental</strong> (nuclear power epc, power distribution, combined cycle, defense and space, environmental cleanup). margin: 0px'><b>Major Responsibilities:</b></H2>&#13;</div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Assist the PFE in the establishment, implementation and maintenance of various field engineering and construction programs</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Maintain project document control and ensure all work activities are executed using the latest versions of relevant documents</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Work with the area and discipline superintendents to develop detailed, integrated installation plans for complex, cross discipline installations</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ensure that work package generation by field engineers supports the construction schedule</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Prioritize work for the multi-discipline team of field engineers within the assigned area (Civil/Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation and Marine) and provide day to day direction and supervision</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Work with Area superintendent to ensure that quantities are reported, verified and submitted for all commodities each week Assist with the development and implementation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITP’s)</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Perform quality control inspections of completed work and generate associated documentation</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ensure that all project quality requirements are understood and adhered to Liaise with the design engineering group and provide support to resolve design and constructability issues</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Assist subordinate responsible field engineers within generation of Field Change Documentation Develop the technical sections of field subcontracts</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Work with supervision to perform front-end work package scoping</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Develop construction progress reports and quantity forecasts</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ensure that field engineers complete required material requisitions to ensure that material deliveries support scheduled activities and complete material receipt inspections</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Monitor field costs and assist in cost forecasts</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Assist in the preparation and updating of construction schedules Ensure correct preparation of applicable as-built documents and inspections required by the contract</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Perform system/area turnovers Conduct annual goal setting/performance reviews and quarterly feedback discussion with assigned field engineers </span></li></ul></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Experience in the design and/or construction of LNG facilities is preferred.</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Understanding of applicable Bechtel work processes including Standard Work Process Procedures is preferred.</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Familiarity with Bechtel Standard Applications (BSAPs) including Unifier, Aconex, DSCS, PTR, Agile, Navisworks, and other automation tools which are used on Bechtel projects is an asset.</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt; Some lifting may be required. Must have the ability to walk into and out of the project (enter/egress).
