Intern - Construction Management

What You Will Do: Program Timeframe: Mid-May through mid-August

We oversee every construction phase to help ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

What you'll be challenged to do: During your internship, you will work on a highly functioning team and aid in providing construction services for a wide variety of projects. You'll receive guidance, supervision and mentorship by experienced construction leaders and professionals with your success as the goal. The majority of our interns convert to full-time employees.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Support real client projects by participating in construction observation and/or inspection of construction activities.
• Interface with the project team and task managers.
• Review and update submittal status reports.
• Assist with preparing schedule reports.
• Maintain project files/documentation including logs.
• Manage online project document control system.
• Attend project meetings and assist with keeping minutes. Education | Experience: What you'll bring to our firm:
• Enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated interest in the construction industry through applied academic coursework, internships, or related work experiences.
• Must have the ability to interface with all levels of personnel and management.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Will require outside work in a variety of weather conditions. Compensation: The salary range for this position is $21.00 - $28.00 per hour.
