Bechtel will design and build Phase 1 of the Ohio One project, a total of 2.5 million square feet, including 600,000 square feet of cleanrooms. Construction will require as much steel as eight Eiffel Towers and as much concrete as the tallest skyscrapers. </span></p><p> </p></div><div><p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Bechtel will strengthen future economic development in the region by partnering with the North America Building Trades Unions and suppliers to create several thousand new jobs and work with local education organizations to implement new training programs that will support the future talent pipeline. </span></p></div></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'><b>Job Summary:</b></H2>&#13;</div><div><p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">The Quality Control Engineer (QCE) will report to the Lead Quality Control Engineer (LQCE) and will support Field Engineering (FE), supervision, and project quality teams in promoting right-the-first-time quality. This role will assist with inspection readiness, quality walks, documentation review, and resolution of field quality questions. The QCE will help coordinate with the Client and third-party inspectors on quality issues, support timely closure of nonconforming or suspect conditions, and learn project quality requirements, procedures, and expectations through hands-on field engagement.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">The QCE will also support the Construction People Based Quality (PBQ) Site Lead with proactive quality activities that help identify trends, reduce nonconforming conditions, reinforce quality expectations, and support right-the-first-time quality.
