Scheduler

This Opportunity WSP is seeking a Scheduler to join our Project Controls team. **This role will report to our client’s office in Amarillo, TX 3 days per week. **

Duties and Responsibilities • Advanced understanding of CPM scheduling, Earned Value Management, and Schedule Risk Analysis • Develop and manage CPM schedules in Primavera P6 across design and construction phases. • Create, update, and analyze execution schedules for concurrent projects. • Develop work breakdown structures (WBS), work packages, and work package activities. • Establish baseline schedules through review of contract requirements, durations, logic, resources, and cost/resource profiles. • Review schedule updates, generate comparison reports, and analyze variances. • Assess schedule issues, scope changes, and delays; provide recommendations for project and executive leadership. • Partner with project teams to identify risks and develop reliable forecasts through completion. • Perform time impact analyses to quantify delay effects. • Support recovery planning and conduct schedule recovery reviews. • Conduct what-if analyses to evaluate schedule alternatives

**Who You Are ** Minimum Qualifications • 5–7 years of experience in developing and managing CPM project schedules in Primavera. • Must have Power & Energy experience • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, project management, or a related field, or equivalent • Proficiency with Primavera P6. • Advanced knowledge of CPM scheduling principles. • Advanced knowledge of cost and resource loading project schedules. • Experience with contract change order management. • Experience performing Time Impact Analyses. • Project financial forecasting capability. • Experience working with cross-functional teams. • Experience with large and complex client programs involving one or more project teams. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready reporting. • Building construction or project management experience. • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
