Senior Civil Engineer - Industrial

WSP is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Facilities team. About the Role Our Facilities group delivers innovative civil engineering solutions for food & beverage, federal, and industrial facilities, with a strong emphasis on quality, collaboration, and forward‑thinking design. In this role, you will support site civil design efforts from concept through construction and play a key role in delivering successful projects. Typical responsibilities include grading and drainage design for new building sites, renovations, and expansions, as well as utility coordination, access road design, permitting support, and construction phase services. Key Responsibilities • Perform site civil design including grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater management for facility projects • Develop design solutions using AutoCAD Civil 3D and terrain modeling tools to support 3D coordination and visualization • Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams, clients, and contractors • Support permitting and regulatory agency coordination • Assist with construction administration and respond to field questions as needed • Take ownership of assigned tasks and contribute to overall project success • Apply WSP’s quality management processes, including QA/QC reviews • Demonstrate sound engineering judgment while adapting and applying engineering principles, codes, and standards • Grow toward leading projects with guidance, mentoring, and oversight from senior engineers
