Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.  Job Description: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Environmental Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to support and/or lead engineering assessments and other related activities for a variety of Environmental remedial design and construction projects ranging from the initial investigation phases through the final stages of remedial implementation and long-term management, collaborating with different project teams within our Environmental Practice group all across the Northeast. Ideally this person would be located in the Northeast, reporting to an office in the Northeast. Remote options may be concerned. 

The ideal candidate has ambition to learn the business side of the industry and work towards leadership positions within 5 years.

What You'll Be Doing: • Completes a variety of assignments such as preparing design drawings, technical specifications for procurement and construction, technical presentations, leading meetings, and developing work products for client and regulatory agency reviews.

• Reviews contract submittals and performs technical bid analyses.

• Prepares engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.

• Prepares and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.

• May be required to provide the seal and signature of the professional engineer, as appropriate, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and ordinances.

• Provides technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and junior-level Engineers working on the same project.

• Support Proposal efforts for new opportunities.

• Provide mentorship and development of Junior Engineering staff.

• This role may involve significant client interactions in technical presentations, meetings, and development of work products anticipated for both client and regulatory agency review.
