Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.  Job Description: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Structural Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to provide Structural Engineering support to design and construction oversight for a prominent US Government customer.

Personnel with relevant backgrounds in areas such as construction management, infrastructure planning, and financial oversight will play a key role in navigating technical, logistical, and financial requirements while ensuring compliance with the customer’s stringent security protocols and operational standards. This role will support the completion of a wide range of Structural Engineering assignments, including such things as analysis of technical issues, review of technical documents, performance of field inspections, and development of technical papers. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary architecture/engineering/construction teams, third-party contractors, and other government agencies to advance the customer’s protective mission.

• Utilize drawings, specifications, photographs, and other information to support projects to assess and improve site and building security.

• Review and provide comments on deliverables for analysis, design, and construction projects.

• Coordinate with program managers to develop, maintain, and update the program’s strategy, budgeting, scheduling, and planning documents, as well as documentation of meetings and past activities.

• Engage and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, third-party contractors, and other government agencies to plan and execute design and construction projects.

• Coordinate with program managers to develop Scopes of Work (SOWs) and prepare contract packages for future acquisitions.
