Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible. Job Description: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Sr. Infrastructure Project Controls Manager to join our team. In this role you will get to develop, manage, and execute all phases of the project controls effort (planning/scheduling, risk and cost analysis) on a large and complex design/build program.
What You'll Be Doing: • Provides guidance, direction, and specialized assistance to project teams for the resolution of difficult and complex project control problems. Develops reports and presentations showing the status of the project for corporate management review.
• Interfaces with client, project management team, project technical and construction team, corporate procurement, finance, and accounting. Attends regular meetings and provides statistical dashboards and reports for project management review and action.
• Manages a team of Project Control Engineers/Specialists who are qualified to analyze, evaluate, and forecast project costs, as well as performance against an established schedule with critical milestones.
• Maintain all project controls procedures in alignment with project business processes and determine methods to improve processes through lessons learned and analysis.
• Maintains the project risk register by participating in regular risk workshops to work with project team to identify new risks, mitigate existing risks and support the calculation of the cost and schedule impact and associated contingency based on the risk probability.
• Oversees the development and maintenance of an established information management system to show the hierarchy of plans and schedules; keeps project and company management fully informed of project status.
• Assesses the impact(s) of design/construction changes and schedule slippages.
• Oversees subcontractor invoicing process and customer billing cycles.
• Coordinates staffing requirements, assigns and supervises project work activities, and trains personnel.
