Technical Director, Project Management

This Opportunity WSP is currently initiating a search for an Aviation Architectural Project Manager to work out of our Atlanta, GA Project office at ATL Airport.

Be involved in projects with our Aviation Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.

Our Aviation Technical Excellence Center provides engineering and planning services for airports facilities, terminals and supports WSP's projects around the world.  The Aviation team works on multiple projects simultaneously, in close coordination with other technical departments.

Your Impact

• Strong oral and written communication skills in English, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to clearly and effectively present information to clients, contractor,

• other staff and management. Proactive, forward thinking risk management throughout the project lifecycle.

• Strong analytical and Core and Shell, Coordination with Contractors and Stakeholders.

• Understanding design drawings of scope, schedule and budget.

• Development of project scopes, budgets and schedules.

• Development and management of Operational Readiness Activation Transition (ORAT).

• Understanding and participating with technical aspects of contract negotiation, presentations and meetings.

• Understanding of review and approval process for progress payments for design and construction, including Tenant Reimbursable Agreement (TRA).

• Maintenance of clear lines of communication and contractual relationship between Owner, Contractor, Staff and Design Team.

• Ability to direct others in the field such as CMAR and third-party consultants to consistently complete tasks safely and efficiently.

• The willingness to learn new technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Additional experience in lieu of degree.
