Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Federal Project BIM Coordinator to be based in Los Angeles , San Diego or Orange, CA . This individual is expected to be a Revit Technical Expert with an affinity for technical challenges, who maintains a high level of knowledge of BIM process and tools through continued use and training with a desire to be involved in daily production of work.

Project BIM Coordinator is to report to Office BIM Manager regularly for updates/check-ins and use the Office BIM Manager as a resource to get involved on complicated tasks or requests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Project Interface

• Lead BIM Kickoff Meetings with Consultants at start of Phase (done for all phases)

• BIM Kickoff Meetings for internal team. Review standards and Revit workflow as well as orient to model setup and contract required BIM uses.

• Assist project teams in BIM project setup including geo-located models, worksets, phases etc.
