Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Market Sector Lead to be based in Sacramento, CA .

AECOM’s Program Management (PgM) business line is a global leader in delivering complex, large-scale programs across diverse sectors. With a focus on innovation, collaboration, and excellence, PgM provides end-to-end solutions that drive impactful results for clients worldwide. Our expertise spans infrastructure, transportation, energy, water, and urban development, ensuring that every program is executed with precision, efficiency, and sustainability.

  • Lead and manages large to very large size programs which have high levels of execution complexity and significant strategic value to the firm.

  • Provide the organization with strong technical leadership and strategic direction for program delivery globally.

  • Advocate for ethical and safe working practices.

  • Drive innovation in program management approaches and methodology to achieve marketplace differentiation.

  • Work with Global Business Lines, Regional leadership, and Market Sector Leaders to identify new business opportunities and develop solutions to address them.

    • Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    • BA/BS + 12 Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Growth experience including significant PMCM and Program Management Awards

    • Experience in business development across market sectors including: Healthcare, Education, Municipal and State Governments and others.

    • Experience leading capture on large opportunities and initiation of services

    • Sustaining services as a trusted client account lead.

    Additional Information

    Sponsorship is not available for this role now in the future.

    Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $275000 to $300000.
